BJP‘s election manager for UP, Amit Shah, on 3rd April, 2014 delivered nothing short of hate speeches in riot affected areas in Shamli district, Uttar Pradesh. Addressing a Jat audience, he told them that this election is an election of honour and revenge and that to avenge the oppressors responsible for the communal trauma in the state, they should vote for BJP. The following videos of Shah’s complete speech at two different venues.

He spews venom when he says, “People who were beggars, have become arabpatis running “buchadkhanas”. BJP is going to stop this. Please understand what it means.”- a direct hint against the Muslim Community and takes Modi‘s pink revolution line.

He shares the stage with a number of riot accused and promises to withdraw all cases once Modi comes to power. Udayvir Pehelka, an octogenarian Jat leader, also takes over the stage and says,”if Amit Shah has come to talk to us, he must promise that he will help us withdraw all the false cases against the Jats and secondly, address a national problem, which is to control the population of this country, else soon enough votes from our community will not count and only” – he stopped to make a sign indicating a beard under his chin – “they will be present everywhere”.
